Meet Leesa – CareMore Photographer & Social Media Content Creator.
Hello CareMore Support Services Team,
If we haven’t already met, my name is Leesa Baldwin. I’m from Glenden and I’ve been a professional photographer for many years, as well as the owner of Leesa Baldwin Photography, a fully registered Australian photography business.
Alongside my photography business, I’ve also worked in the mining industry for the past 17 years with my husband, DJ, who you’ll no doubt meet along the way! 😁📸 He’s my driver, assistant, photography pack-mule and occasional voice of reason! 😂 We’ve had the opportunity to travel Australia and work with many amazing people in all kinds of different environments.
I’ve always had a real love for photography, but for me it’s so much more than taking a nice photo. I love people, connection, personality and those little everyday moments that make a great story. That’s what I’m hoping to bring to my role as the Social Media Content Creator for CareMore Support Services. ❤️
📱 My Role with CareMore
My role is to create engaging content that showcases CareMore as a whole across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, the CareMore website and Google platforms.
I want people to see the heart behind CareMore — the clients, support workers, nurses and wider team who make the organisation what it is. I also want to showcase the fleet, mobility equipment, services, activities, community involvement and all those everyday moments that happen within CareMore.
Most importantly, I want the content to feel real, positive and genuine, and to reflect the people, relationships and care that happen every day.
✨ Getting to Know You
A big part of this will be helping people get to know the faces and personalities behind CareMore.
I’d love to feature each of you and share a little bit about who you are, what you enjoy about your role and what makes your work meaningful. I think the people behind an organisation are what truly make it special, and I’d love to help share your stories. ❤️
You can simply send me a little spiel about yourself and answer whichever questions you feel comfortable with. There’s no need to overthink it — just tell me about yourself in your own words and I’ll turn it into a social media feature that reflects you and your experience.

📸 Let’s Capture More of the Everyday
As part of my role with CareMore, I’ll also be working with the organisation as a professional photographer going forward. I’ll be slowly making my way around to each town, conducting photography sessions, attending events and activities, and capturing the people, services and everyday life of CareMore.
I’m really looking forward to getting out and about, meeting more of you and spending time with the clients and staff across the different communities.
Of course, I can’t be everywhere at once! 😂 That’s where I’d love your help in capturing some of those everyday moments in between.
I’d encourage you to take more photos during your time as a support worker for CareMore. Some of the best stories can come from the simplest moments — grabbing a coffee, going shopping, heading out for a walk, cooking together, enjoying a favourite activity or simply having a laugh.
The photos I’m particularly looking for are ones that show the client, the staff member and the surroundings or activity. Having the background included gives the photo context and helps tell the story of what you’re doing together.
Selfies are especially great! 😊 They show the genuine connection between staff and the people they support. Where possible, try to include some of your surroundings rather than just having faces filling the whole photo.
For example:
• Shopping: A selfie together with the shopping trolley, groceries and supermarket around you.
• Having coffee: Include your coffee cups, the table and café in the background.
• Going for a walk: Include the walking track, park, beach or scenery behind you.
• Cooking or baking: Show yourselves together with the kitchen, ingredients or food you’re preparing.
• Activities and hobbies: Capture the activity you’re enjoying and include the equipment or materials.
• Community outings: Include the location or surroundings so people can see where you’ve been.
• Special occasions: Include the decorations, cake, activity or anything else that makes the occasion special.
• Everyday moments: If something fun, funny or memorable happens, capture it!
Most phones also have a Portrait Mode in the camera settings, which can create some beautiful photos, so feel free to have a play with it.
If you take a photo that you think would make great content, send it directly to me on 0429 197 452, along with a few words about who’s in it, what you’re doing, where you are or what’s happening. I can then turn the photo and information into content for CareMore’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, website or Google platforms.
I’d love for us to get this started as soon as possible, so please start sending through any great photos and information from your day-to-day activities straight away.
I do work shift work as well, so I may not always reply straight away, but I’ll see your message and get back to you when I’m available. 😊
📋 Social Media Release
Before taking or sending any photo containing a client, both the client and the staff member taking the photo must have completed the Social Media Release Form.
This only needs to be completed once. If the client is unable to complete the form themselves, a staff member may complete it on their behalf with the client’s permission.
